This is a 20 credit module.

You'll learn to skilfully navigate a complex philosophical debate surrounding mental health. You'll develop the skills to articulate and to defend your own opinion on this debate. You will work closely with academics, whilst writing an essay on a topic of your choosing.

Entry requirements

As this is a Level 7 credit bearing module, we would normally expect applicants to have studied to Level 6.

However, we also welcome applicants with experience of mental health (either in a professional or service user role), who have not obtained a formal Level 6 qualification.

All applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
