Course overview
This module can be studied as 20 credits at Level 6 (NU3620) or Level 7 (NH4006).
This module aims to equip practitioners with the knowledge, skill and competencies to manage demand for same day consultations for common, minor ailments, within a primary care setting.
Opportunity to practice the new clinical skills is built into the programme as clinical practice. Students will be expected to undertake additional study outside of the taught hours.
The teaching strategies consist of classroom-based teaching. You are required to attend for 7 taught days at the Preston campus. One further attendance to undertake the assessment.
