2. WiseGP: mastering your expertise as a consultant in general practice to support patients with complex problems.
WiseGP was set up by GPs, for GPs, to champion the knowledge work of everyday professional practice. Every clinician working today will know from experience that our job depends not just on what we know, but how also we use what you know to help our patients. Everyday in practice, we must use clinical scholarship to manage the complexity of our job. Which is one of the reasons why scholarship, and academic practice, are so important - for every GP. We're looking forward to exploring this with you at the conference.
Dr Annabelle Machin is a salaried GP and WiseGP Fellow based in Staffordshire.
Prof Joanne Reeve is founder of WiseGP and Prof of Primary Care at Hull York Medical School
3. 'Navigating GP Training as a new GP ACF'

Balancing clinical responsibilities with academic commitments, understanding the structure of GP training, and developing a clear career pathway can be daunting for new ACFs. This workshop is designed to provide tailored guidance and practical strategies to help new GP ACFs navigate this dual-role effectively.
