The University of Central Lancashire warmly welcomes students from Malawi and has a strong ties to countries in Africa after working with them for over 20 years.
Not only this, but we currently have a large number of our students from a range of African countries, as well as UK students who are eager to study and work in Africa.

Below are the criteria for the award of scholarships:
Sub-Saharan Africa
- 65% or above in Part 1 bachelor degree.
- BBB at COHSC.
Excellence

70% or above in Part 1 bachelor degree.

Grade 5/6 of UG degree from Mzuzu University or University of Malawi (70-84%).
Excellence
- Grade 6/6 of UG degree from Mzuzu University or University of Malawi (85% or above).

If your academic and/or English language qualifications are not sufficient to allow for direct entry to one of our undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes, you may wish to consider one of our Undergraduate or Master Foundation Programmes, offered at the University of Central Lancashire by ONCampus. Successful completion of this programme can guarantee entry to a wide range of programmes with us.
